Up Coming Events:

The Northwest Film Center Presents:
28th PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
FEBRUARY 11-27, 2005

The Portland International Film Festival (PIFF) is the major film event in Oregon, and one of the region's most culturally diverse arts events. We expect the 28th edition (February 11 - 27, 2005) to draw 30,000+ people from throughout the region to the Northwest premieres of more than 100 films from 30 countries.

The Festival offers a broad mix of film, arts, multicultural, family, and educational events to a globally aware audience, and a window to a world in which we share an increasing interest, dependency and responsibility.

In addition to showcasing new international cinema, other special programs (including screen classics, director retrospectives, visiting artists, shorts, documentary, family, thematic series, national cinema surveys, and production panels) offer unique opportunities for film audiences of all ages and persuasions. PIFF films screen daily at the Regal Broadway Metroplex, Guild Theatre and Portland Art Museum's Whitsell Auditorium, all located in downtown
Portland.
