SITE VISIT: Panorama.dk

If you have any interest in all about the use of panorama photography for web site development this Panoramas.dk is a must visit site. Hans Nyberg, a commercial photographer in Denmark, has created this place on the web to make immersive panoramic images, also called VR Photography, more known among the general public.

He notes, "Interactive panoramas is a young media and as such it has for many years been known among enthusiastic photographers and multimedia creators. An interactive VR panorama can not be seen in a book or on a printed image."

According to Nyberg, "You can only experience the feeling of being at the place and look around, on a computer. You can only distribute VR Panoramas by the Internet or on CD."

"Slow modem connections has hindered the use of large panoramas on web pages, but the number of fast internet connections now grows fast and in many countries more than 30% have DSL or Broadband."
