You've finished your new film and shown it to all your friends. Now what? In today's niche marketplace, there are viable alternatives to chasing elusive mainstream distribution companies. This workshop shows you how to take distribution into your own hands by introducing a variety of proven approaches for success, including strategies for entering film festivals, garnering the attention of the press, putting on your own public screenings, tapping in to the growing microcinema scene, utilizing the internet and working with small alternatie video distributors. No experience necessary. Bring your questions! This is a NW Film Center and DIVA Center Project.
